Olathe, Kan., December 14, 2009—The Meteorlite 1000 Series strobe, for utility vehicle safety lighting and traffic control, is Superior Signals’ Class II high profile strobe available with an amber or blue lens. The lens and clear dome are removable polycarbonate with replaceable 12-48 Vdc Xenon flash tubes rated at 8 Joules (single) and 18 Joules (quad) flashing at 60 FPM. It draws 2.5 amp maximum at 12 Vdc. The 1000 series has an anodized aluminum permanent mount base and carries a one year warranty.
