Fairchild Semiconductor wins supplier of the year award from Grundfos

Fairchild provides highly integrated Smart Power Module, solutions for Grundfos’ circulation pump. This pump compiles to the energy-using products directive and has received the "Best energy-efficient circulator" by the EU project. The highly integrated SPM modules offer optimum performance for inverter applications such as low power circulation pumps, fans, air-conditioning, dishwashers, refrigeration and other white goods.

Fairchild supplies solutions for a wide range of motor control applications. Fairchild’s MOSFETs, IGBTs and high voltage rectifiers, combined with the unique packaging, are ideal for motor control applications due to the high efficiency and reliability that can be achieved. Additionally, Fairchild’s robust half-bridge gate drivers and opto-isolated gate drivers provide an excellent link between the power switches and the host controller.
