Utility equipment: Kiene has developed a new adapter for its K-1350 Wheel Grabber. The new “Extender” allows a technician to safely remove seized wheels from vehicles on a floor lift.

The Kiene Wheel Grabber is a well-established tool for removing seized wheels from heavy duty tractors, trailers and buses, as well as Ford super-duty applications. It allows one technician to quickly and safely remove the most stubborn seized wheels. With the “Extender” in place, the vehicle does not have to be taken off the lift to remove a seized wheel.

In addition to the new extension, Kiene is developing another Wheel Grabber adapter which will remove seized brake drums. This adapter is scheduled for release the first quarter of 2013
