Backhoe loaders and more: The Terex Factory Store in Grand Rapids, Minn., has extended its customer sales territory, as well as expanded its sales and service capabilities to include Terex® skid steer loaders, backhoes, mini crawler and wheeled excavators and compact wheel loaders in addition to the store’s existing coverage of the compact track loader line. The Terex-owned facility now covers the territory of Northern Minnesota — east to Duluth, west to Bemidji, north to the Canadian border and south to Hill City.

“We are pleased to announce the strategic growth of the Terex Factory Store in Minnesota,” said Dean Barley, vice president and general manager, Terex Construction Americas and Global Aftermarket. “The store is located next to our manufacturing facilities in Grand Rapids and has been looking after customers’ needs for nearly three decades. We’re excited to expand its capabilities to include sales, service and warranty work for our compact track loader and skid steer loader product lines. This move allows us to serve our large customer base in the area more efficiently.”

The Terex Factory Store first opened its doors as an outlet store, selling ASV® compact track loaders and attachments. With the acquisition of ASV, Inc. by Terex in March 2008, the store expanded its capabilities to also offer parts and service work for the entire Terex compact construction equipment line, which also includes compact excavators, compact wheel loaders and backhoe loaders. Today with the addition of sales and service for skid steer loaders, the Terex Factory Store is able to better meet the needs of Terex customers working in a variety of applications, including construction, landscaping, site prep and grading and excavation.

To best serve customers in Northern Minnesota, the Terex Factory Store features a 5,000-sq ft, 4-bay service center with a showroom and full parts inventory to serve customers in Northern Minnesota. In addition to offering Terex compact track loaders and skid steer loader products and services, qualified Terex Factory Store customers can take advantage of financing options through Terex Financial Services. Terex Financial Services offers a range of finance and leasing solutions, structured to accommodate customers’ cash flow and budgets. The Terex Financial Services team is equipped to assist in all areas of asset management, from the analysis of future equipment values through the disposal of used equipment.
