Construction equipment: Doosan Portable Power recently appointed Gino Morin to district manager for Mexico, Caribbean and northeast South America. In this position, Morin will be responsible for the business relationship with Doosan Portable Power dealers in Mexico, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and the Caribbean islands.

Morin joined Doosan Infracore Remarketing Services in 2008 with responsibility for sales of used Doosan Portable Power equipment primarily for export. In 2012, he was appointed to take on additional aftermarket territory manager responsibilities for the state of Florida. Prior to joining Doosan, Morin worked for MD Moody & Sons and United Rentals in various roles of increasing responsibility, including sales and branch management.

Morin holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a minor in communications and is currently pursuing his MBA.

“Gino’s experience and knowledge in rental and used equipment will be invaluable in continuing to provide our dealers with the right support and sharing of ideas for expanding into new business,” said Oscar Fernandez, director, Latin America, Doosan Portable Power.

Morin will continue to conduct business from Miami. He will also be responsible for the business relationship with Bobcat in the Caribbean and Venezuela.
