Absopulse Electronics' DCW 150R-EH Series is a plug-in dc/dc converter with wide input ranges designed for railway and other heavy-duty applications. It can be operated from 48Vdc (28V to 74V range), 72Vdc (42V to 110V) or 110Vdc (57V to 168V) supply voltages. This 100W field-proven converter provides output voltages of 12V, 24V, 48V or 110Vdc. Other input and output configurations are also available.

The DCW 150R-EH is designed to meet the requirements of EN 50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock. It also meets EN 55022 Class B EMI and EN 50121-3-2 (EMI and EMC). The unit features full electronic protection on the input and output, high efficiency and reliability.

This compact plug-in module measures 3U x 10HP x 160mm and is mostly used in 19" rack-mount applications. DCW 150R-EH is heavily ruggedized and conformal coated and designed to meet IEC 61373 Categories 1 A & B shock and vibration standards. Cooling is by natural convection and it performs to full specification at temperatures from -25°C to 55°C (Class T1).

The DCW 150R-EH is priced in the US$175 range at quantities of 100, depending on the configuration.
