Signum Group Launches Asset Reliability Services Practice

Signum Group LLC (Signum) announced today at the Reliability and EAM Summit in Las Vegas that it is expanding its Oracle Enterprise Asset Management delivery capabilities to include asset reliability services.

A leading consulting and integration company for Oracle maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management deployments since 2000, Signum has launched the asset reliability services practice with a dedicated team of veteran consultants. Signum will also establish a maintenance reliability capability within SignumWay™, a proprietary implementation methodology and toolkit that is used to optimize Oracle Enterprise Asset Management system deployments for customers and lower their total cost of ownership (TCO) for Oracle solutions.

Signum also announced it had named 35 year maintenance and reliability veteran Dave Abecunas CMRP to the position of Director Asset Reliability Services. Abecunas and his team will lead reliability appraisals for customers with the objective of improving the effective implementation of reliability strategies in Signum's Oracle Enterprise Asset Management customer deployments.

Abecunas commented, "The benefits gained through effective asset reliability programs can add major value when tightly integrated into Oracle maintenance." He will be presenting a paper this week at the Reliability and EAM Summit in Las Vegas. A white paper based on his presentation is available for download now at www.signumgroup.com.

Commenting on Signum's launch of Oracle asset reliability services, Terry O'Hanlon, Publisher of Uptime Magazine and organizer of the Reliability and EAM Forum, said, "While Enterprise Asset Management systems are crucial to all organizations, companies must also implement proactive reliability strategies at the same time in order to address their asset maintenance process. Only then will companies realize the true potential of their people and processes to become best-in-class performers."

Signum's Oracle Practice Director Raymond Colles concluded, "Signum has consistently been recognized for delivering efficient, high-quality services and solutions to its customers. The addition of a subject matter based asset reliability services practice is a key component in our strategy to provide an expanded value proposition to our customers."
