Mobile Security System Now Offered by Doosan Infracore Portable Power
Doosan Infracore Portable Power introduces the Ingersoll Rand MVS-6 Mobile Security System. This new and innovative security solution allows remote monitoring of jobsites or other outdoor areas at substantially less cost than employing security manpower. The MVS-6 (Mobile Video Surveillance) is an extra set of eyes to effectively monitor and record images in various environments such as construction sites, parking lots, event venues and equipment yards.
The MVS-6 uses a self-contained power unit, which employs a standard hybrid power system of solar and diesel technology to ensure 6 months of uninterrupted remote operation. Its wireless technology makes remote operation simple yet flexible for any environment, and its anti-theft features ensure that it is a solid investment for any jobsite.
The MVS-6 can be remotely operated, using software that connects the user to the system's day / night imaging camera and a 40GB DVR via a wireless connection. Not only can the operator remotely control the pan / tilt / zoom functions of the camera, but the operator can also access the DVR to review recorded images. An installed motion detector initiates camera operation when movement is detected. The wireless communication system allows for easy networking of multiple MVS-6 units to secure a large area and allows one person to monitor an entire jobsite or other area. The wireless system can also monitor the unit's power supply.
The MVS-6's hybrid power system utilizes a combination of solar and diesel technology for 6 month continuous operation. The 85-watt solar power array continuously charges the system's three deep cycle batteries. A diesel generator with a 27-gallon fuel tank provides power to auxiliary outlets and a standard lighting feature. The generator also provides supplemental battery charging when sun exposure is limited.
The MVS-6's wiring is housed inside a durable, tamper-resistant, locked enclosure that protects the unit from theft and vandalism. The MVS-6 also employs a tilt alarm with a local horn and remote monitor indication.
The MVS-6 is not only easy to use; it requires only one person to set-up and can be deployed under almost any condition. The MVS-6 employs state-of- the-art design to meet the highest industry standards, making it the most rugged, portable security system available.
