As the latest addition to our line of HOBO® U30 Remote Monitoring Systems, the HOBO U30/Wi-Fi provides a simple and cost-effective means of monitoring conditions in a wide range of applications from agricultural research to renewable energy systems.

The HOBO U30/Wi-Fi combines weatherproof data logging hardware with integrated Wi-Fi communications. You can easily plug in your choice of sensors and connect to the Internet via a Wi-Fi network without having to worry about cumbersome communications cables or wiring.

To view and analyze your data, Onset offers HOBOlink™, a revolutionary new web-enabled software platform. HOBOlink allows you to access current and historical data, set alarm notifications and relay activations, and manage and control remote HOBO U30/Wi-Fi system right from your desktop.

The HOBO U30/Wi-Fi can be self powered with solar panels or connected to AC power. It provides around-the-clock monitoring of various types of applications. For example, it can be used in a greenhouse to manage climate control and help promote favorable growing conditions. In solar power applications, it can verify the performance of photovoltaic (PV) array systems by monitoring solar radiation, DC power, and other parameters. On green roofs, it can help researchers understand performance by tracking air temperature, turf temperature, soil moisture, and rainfall.
