ROSTRA REARSIGHT BACK-UP CAMERA AVAILABLE FOR 2007-2008 CHEVROLET SILVERADO/GMC SIERRA

A RearSight(r) back-up camera system for 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierras is now available from Rostra Precision Controls Inc.

"Rostra's new system is designed to assist drivers in avoiding back-up accidents by providing excellent depth of field and a 150-degree view behind the truck," said Sibyl Ringsdorf, manager of marketing and national accounts, Rostra Precision Controls Inc. "Plus, we've designed the Silverado/Sierra RearSight kit to complement the interior and exterior aesthetics of these new trucks."

The RearSight kit (part #250-8037) features a 0.5 Lux shrouded CCD color camera that mounts discretely into the truck's tailgate latch. The camera comes with an anti-fog lens, a waterproof case and a 30-foot extension harness.

In addition, the kit's 3.5-inch TFT monitor is designed to mount in the truck's coin box location for a clean look. The screen has dual video inputs (navigation, interior camera or DVD) and provides a wide-angle view with reverse override.

Professional installation is recommended for Rostra's RearSight kit and typically takes less than 30 minutes.

Rostra Precision Controls Inc., headquartered in Laurinburg, N.C., is the leading supplier of speed control systems, rear obstacle sensing systems, transmission components and comfort seating systems to the global automotive aftermarket industry.
