FLEX & GRIP COMPOSITE LINEMEN'S GLOVES, FOR ELECTRICIANS AND MORE, REMOVE NEED FOR OVER-GLOVES

In compliance with IEC 60903 and EN 60903 standards requirements, linemen's gloves were, until recently, worn "for standard use" with leather over-gloves to protect them from any risk of abrasion, perforation, etc. Today, the FLEX & GRIP glove by REGELTEX, with its high-performance dielectric properties and mechanical resistance, removes the need for an over-glove. REGELTEX has extended the FLEX & GRIP range, applicable for electrical, manufacturing, and other industrial conditions, to include increasing levels of protection, as a worldwide exclusive, up to a maximum safe-use voltage of 36,000 volts. The wearer can enjoy comfort and ease of use with one pair instead of two, together with maximum softness.

FLEX & GRIP is also innovative by the selection of raw materials which grant a good suppleness, in spite of the thickness required to protect entirely against the mechanical hazards. ln the same way, the chemical formula of the outside layer gives an exceptional grip, even in wet conditions. There are also economic advantages: This one glove costs less than the "linemen's glove + over-glove" solution, and has guaranteed protection. Delivery is fast, too: 95% of orders are processed within three weeks (some competitors can take up to eight weeks), thanks to the implementation of a third production line.

The FLEX & GRIP gloves are classified in the following levels of protection:

BT/LV: low voltage composite gloves for any live working under 1,000 volts

Class 1: tested to 10,000 volts for a maximum use voltage of 7,500 volts

Classes 2, 3, and 4: (respectively for the maximum voltage usages of 17,000, 26,500, and 36,000 volts), which the specification fully answer by the standards requirements (EN 60903:2003 and IEC 60903:2002).

As an additional guarantee of safety, REGELTEX meets European and international standards that has deployed all the quality control equipment needed to validate production batches. This is a vital point, since controls and tests are a major part of these products' manufacturing process.

Sales are evenly split between large-account companies (energy companies, military, public transportation, telecoms providers) and smaller companies (maintenance companies, contractors, manufacturing companies). REGELTEX makes close to 60% of its sales revenue through exports in about 50 countries.
