This month is an exciting one. There is so much going on (besides Valentine’s Day of course). To be specific, this issue features our Annual Reader’s Choice Awards and Buyer’s Guide. This is the issue you’ll want to keep around (as if you aren’t keeping every issue… come on, I know you do… don’t you?). It is filled with articles and new product spotlights that received the most Reader Responses in 2007, among other contributing factors. Each is a great read with important information that will help you and your company in more ways than one. And of course, as always, be sure to fill out the Reader Service Card and mail it in to receive even more information about these products and services.

The Buyer’s Guide is your source for contact information for 100’s of companies within the industry. It may look a little different from previous years, but trust me, it’s for the better, because now it includes even more information than before. Product descriptions, company descriptions, phone numbers, addresses, web addresses – it’s all there. You will want to keep this for future reference, as I have a feeling it will come in quite handy throughout the year. Think of it as your utility phone book. Everything you need, in one tidy magazine. (And if you find that you’re colleagues have swiped it for their own reference, no worries, you can see the complete Buyer’s Guide on our website at www.utilityproducts.com. Just click the Buyers Guide tab on the top of the page.)

And I’m incredibly excited to let the world know that Utility Products is starting our very own trade show, the Utility Products Conference & Exposition. This brand-new show will premier in San Diego February 3-5, 2009. It will be an annual event and will offer conferences, product demonstrations, career/job training, networking, and so much more. We are terribly excited about this new endeavor and feel that our readers will benefit from it in a multitude of ways. Be sure to flip to page 6 for the full press release on this great new show, and visit www.utilityproductsexpo.com to keep up-do-date on new information regarding the show. Make sure to mark your calendars for this event, because trust me, you’re not going to want to miss it – it’s going to be one amazing show.

And last, but certainly not least, this month we will be attending TechAdvantage in Anaheim, CA and NTEA in Atlanta, GA. Be sure to stop by our booth and say hello, and pick up a couple of extra copies of your favorite magazine. We’d love to see you.

Cheers,
