Energy analytics firm and SaaS provider Bidgely, found in a study that select participants of a Pacific Gas & Electric customer pilot group achieved up to 7.7 percent energy savings with Stream My Data, its real-time energy monitoring service.

PG&E enrolled nearly 850 of its customers to use Bidgely’s HomeBeat service from August through December 2014 as part of a pilot project evaluating impacts of real-time electricity usage and cost information directly from a smart meter. Participants were recruited from SmartRate and time of use (TOU) subscribers.

The Bidgely HomeBeat solution includes HomeBeat Web & Mobile, HomeBeat Energy Monitor and HomeBeat Agent, used by utilities across the world to deepen customer relationships, drive energy efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
