Quebec, Canada, November 8, 2011 — German wind turbine producer Repower Systems, a unit of Indian Suzlon Energy, has agreed to deliver wind turbines for a 150 MW wind farm in the Canadian province of Quebec.

Under the agreement, Repower will supply 75 wind turbines of 2 MW each for the Massif du Sud wind project of EDF EN Canada, the Canadian unit of French renewable energy group EDF EN, Suzlon said in a statement.

Delivery of the turbines will start at the beginning of 2012 and commissioning of the wind farm is planned for the autumn of 2012. Repower will be also in charge of maintaining the turbines.

This is the third order under a framework agreement between EDF EN and Repower signed in 2009, Suzlon said.
