Tendril to deliver energy efficiency, customer engagement for NV Energy

Tendril and NV Energy will begin delivering Home Energy Reports to Nevada residents in July 2014

NV Energy picked Tendril to deliver engagement solutions to more than 100,000 electric power customers. NV Energy, a utility that provides a wide range of energy services to 1.3 million customers, chose the Tendril ESM Platform to deliver Home Energy Reports designed to increase awareness of energy usage and provide personalized recommendations to reduce consumption.

Tendril and NV Energy will begin delivering Home Energy Reports to Nevada residents in July 2014. The reports will be offered via physical mail and email and will provide information on an individual’s energy usage, recommendations for reducing consumption and offers for related products and services.

In these reports, the content is tailored to the user. This approach is enabled by Tendril’s home simulation model, which leverages multiple stores of data including historical energy consumption and demographic information from public sources. According to programs in progress today, leveraging this data to create accurate customer profiles and delivering targeted content drives participation rates up to five times higher, compared to those achieved through traditional methods.
