Solar Chile submits environmental declaration for $95 million solar plant
The plant, dubbed La Tirana Solar I, will have a capacity of 34 MW generated by 479,520 solar panels
February 24, 2012 — Chilean firm Solar Chile submitted its environmental impact declaration for a $95 million solar power project in La Tirana, in Chile's Arica and Parinacota regions.
The environmental impact declaration will be analyzed until May 17, 2012.
Solar Chile is a unit of non-profit private corporation Fundacion Chile and U.S. photovoltaic system solutions provider First Solar.
