Rotating apparatus and electrical power company appoints director

Shermco Industries’ Scott Meador appointed director of marketing for OPMUG.

Dallas, March 3, 2011—Shermco Industries, a provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training, has announced that Scott Meador, vice president of business development, has been elected to the Oklahoma Predictive Maintenance User’s Group board of directors. Meador has been appointed director of marketing for the board.

OPMUG was established in 1992 to provide maintenance professionals throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Arkansas an opportunity to share and obtain firsthand knowledge about predictive maintenance. The organization consists of individuals and company-sponsored members from many different industries including utilities, manufacturing, refineries, municipalities, government, service organizations, educational institutions and leading predictive maintenance vendors. The OPMUG is a not-for-profit organization.
