New Research from Johnson Controls Indicates Energy Efficiency is Still Important to Business Leaders, but Investment Lags

Third annual Energy Efficiency Indicator survey reveals regulation and incentives will drive investment

"These findings highlight the fact that business leaders across the U.S. are increasingly aware of the need for energy efficiency and its potential to reduce operating costs while cutting greenhouse gas emissions," said C. David Myers, president of Johnson Controls Building Efficiency division. "Economic and regulatory uncertainty, however, are inhibiting organizations from investing in proactive measures," added Myers.

Philips Automotive Lighting North America, a division of Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE:PHG), has launched its new EcoVision line of fuel-saving halogen headlight bulbs. Philips EcoVision's advanced energy-saving technology enables drivers to replace standard bulbs with ones that consume up to 20% less power.
