The $150 million project utilizes Solel's UVAC 2008 solar receivers, parabolic mirrors, collector assemblies and patented control systems to capture sunlight and convert it to the most possible heat for clean energy. In addition, Solel is providing project design, engineering and integration services. The Lebrija project, called Lebrija-1, has an overall cost of $400 million, and is being developed in partnership with Valoriza Energia, a subsidiary of Sacyr Vallehermoso, a leading Spanish construction company based in Madrid. Valoriza Energia is providing to the consortium the power block, civil works, and auxiliary systems. The project will be operational in 2010.
