GE appoints three new company officers

General Electric announced the appointment of three new company officers. GE has 195 officers globally who lead large revenue-generating businesses or are in critical technology or functional roles, helping to drive growth.
Jörg F. Debatin, 52, has been named vice president and chief technology officer for GE Healthcare. Debatin joined GE from Amedes AG, where he served as CEO. Prior to joining Amedes AG in 2011, Debatin served as medical director and CEO at the University Medical Center, Hamburg-Eppendorf.
He also worked as a radiologist at Stanford University, the University Hospital of Zurich, and the University Hospital of Essen, where he served as head of department for the Institute of Diagnostic Radiology.
Jaime A. Irick, 40, has been appointed vice president of GE Lighting North America Professional Solutions. Irick joined GE in 2003, where he held a succession of leadership roles, most recently serving as general manager, GE Lighting North America Professional Solutions. Prior to joining GE, Irick served as an officer for the U.S. Army.
Kelly A. Lafnitzegger, 47, has been named vice president of human resources for GE Power & Water. Lafnitzegger joined GE in 1989, where she held a series of leadership roles in human resources and development. Most recently, she served as senior executive of human resources for GE Transportation.
