Fall is almost here, and it's the time of year we accept your nominations for our DistribuTECH Conference & Exhibition Projects of the Year Awards.

We will recognize the winners live at DistribuTECH's keynote session January 23, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. These awards are a great way for you and your co-workers, as well as the other companies involved in the project, to be recognized for your efforts and innovation.

You can get started on your submission at this link. The submissions deadline has been extended to September 22.

Winners will be notified the week of October 16. Awards will be presented to each winner on Monday, January 23, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas, during DistribuTECH's keynote session. Winners also will be recognized in a 2018 issue of POWERGRID International.

Judges will select one utility winner in each of four categories: Grid Optimization, Customer Engagement, Demand Response / Energy Efficiency, DER Grid Integration.

Projects will be judged by our editors on ingenuity, scope, practicality, vision and follow-through.

All companies involved in the delivery of electric power are eligible, including investor-owned utilities, federal power agencies, municipal utilities and rural electric cooperatives. Also eligible are RTOs, ISOs, independent transmission companies and other T&D-owning/operating entities.

Winning entries will work with a POWERGRID International editor to develop the article and award video between Oct. 16, 2017, and the DistribuTECH keynote session on Jan. 23, 2018. High-resolution photos/graphics (up to 10) and additional project details will be required.
