Crane models introduced

PALFINGER North America introduces nine new crane models to North American market.

Niagara Falls, Ontario, July 8, 2010—Under the slogan “Making the best even better,” PALFINGER continues to introduce new crane models in its “High Performance” range. Nine new crane models were recently introduced to the North American market.

The PALFINGER Compact telescopic series has been completely redesigned in the performance class up to four metre tonnes. The new models offer up to 15 percent increase in lifting moment and up to 25 percent decrease in dead weight. In addition, the new models have more reach and an improved slewing system. PALFINGER Compact models PC 1500, PC 2700 and PC 3800 set a new benchmark in this range.

PALFINGER has introduced two new models in the small knuckle boom class, the PK 3400 and PK 4200. Representing a significant advancement in small-crane design, the newly developed extension system allows up to 32 feet, 2 inches of hydraulic reach. These new cranes are ready for use in the building materials trade, horticulture and the municipal sectors.
