Eyewear protection blocks dirt and debris
Gateway Safety's StarLite FOAM safety eyewear gives workers a protective edge in sweltering work environments.
Cleveland, Ohio, August 2, 2010—The newest member of Gateway Safety’s StarLite family of eye protection, StarLite FOAM is an answer to the need for a safety spectacle with some safety goggle features. StarLite FOAM has a soft foam edge that blocks dirt and debris and helps absorb perspiration in warm indoor or outdoor work environments. It is also an ideal option for those working with drywall or similarly dusty applications.
To fight summer glare, the scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens blocks more than 99.9 percent UV-A, B, and C light. To help prevent fogging when going from hot weather to air conditioning, StarLite FOAM comes in a gray or clear anti-fog lens, both with black temples.
Light in weight yet incredibly durable, StarLite FOAM meets or exceeds the ANSI Z87.1+ standard and offers very good impact protection, optical quality and cushioned comfort.
The StarLite family of protective eyewear includes StarLite SM, which is 10 percent smaller for women and workers with narrow faces; the bifocal StarLite MAG; StarLite GUMBALLS for a touch of color and fun; and StarLite SQUARED, for a hip and trendy look.
