Nemesis protective eyewear line expanded to include polarized lenses
Kimberly-Clark Professional’s Jackson Safety brand has added polarized lenses to its Nemesis protective eyewear line to improve visual acuity and reduce eye fatigue for people who work outdoors.
Roswell, Ga., January 11, 2010—Kimberly-Clark Professional’s Jackson Safety brand has added polarized lenses to its Nemesis protective eyewear line to improve visual acuity and reduce eye fatigue for people who work outdoors.
The most popular line in the Jackson Safety brand protective eyewear portfolio, Nemesis now includes two different polarized lens options. The brown and grey lenses filter scattered reflective light waves to improve depth perception and contrast as well as reduce eye strain and fatigue. Both provide superior protection for applications that require extreme clarity and deep-color contrast.
“The new Nemesis polarized lenses are a great option for people who work outside, particularly in work-zone safety jobs,” said Christine Hand, category manager for Kimberly-Clark Professional. “Our single-polarized lens technology sharpens vision and reduces eye strain by filtering out the chaotic light waves that can cause glare.”
The Nemesis polarized eye protection products also feature soft-touch temples for increased comfort in extended-use situations and a single-lens wraparound design for greater protection around the eye. They are also lightweight with a sporty design that includes a free neck cord to keep glasses handy when not in use. Nemesis polarized eye protection products provide 99.9 percent UV protection and meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards. Custom imprinting is also available on the temples and lenses.
Typical applications for Nemesis polarized safety glasses include road work, construction, utilities, landscaping, general industry, transportation and other outdoor activities.
