Duratel introduces senior VP of sales and engineering

Brian Lacoursiere joins Duratel to help lead North American and international sales efforts.

Chicago, Ill., November 19, 2010—Duratel is pleased to welcome Brian Lacoursiere, senior vice president of sales and engineering. Mr. Lacoursiere brings his substantial expertise as a senior professional in the utility and pole industries to the Duratel team to help lead North American and international sales efforts, and to also assist in overseeing product engineering and testing.

Mr. Lacoursiere extensive 30 year career includes 13 years as a utility engineer with TransAlta Utilities and SaskPower. In addition, Mr. Lacoursiere has 17 years of experience in the utility pole industry, including 10 years with International Utility Structures Inc. (IUSI), a steel pole company, with senior level responsibilities in engineering, technical support and marketing; and seven years with RS Technologies, a composite pole company, with senior level responsibilities in sales, marketing, technical support and public affairs.

Duratel is a manufacturer of composite utility pole products for utility transmission and distribution, lighting, marine, wind, solar, cellular and wireless applications.
