Utility tools: Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its Hand Tool line with the introduction of their new 6-1/2 ft. Composite Folding Rules. Offering best in class durability and life, the new measuring tool was designed specifically with the mechanical and electrical trades in mind.
“While many professionals commonly reach for their tape measure, certain trades including Pipe Fitters, Linesmen and Electricians, prefer the versatility and rigidity of a folding rule for their applications,” says Bobby Shaw, Director of Marketing for Milwaukee Tool. “Not only does this folding rule have ‘inside read’ measurements marked on both sides and both edges, it also features time-saving reference angles for common conduit bends, helping to improve the accuracy of measurements while on the jobsite.”
Available October 2015, the new ruler will be available in both a standard (48-22-3801) and Engineering (48-22-3802) scale. Offering maximum durability, each rule will feature a composite laminate finish for water and scratch resistance, as well as heat stamped markings to resist wear and abrasion. Corrosion-free embedded joints also lock at 0°, 90° and 180° for added utility and durability.
Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the new 6-1/2 ft. Composite Folding Rule confirms Milwaukee’s commitment to best-in-class durability and their relentless commitment to provide innovative solutions to their end user that increase productivity.
