Utility supplies: Larson Electronics has announced the release of an explosion proof transformer that is designed to be hard-wired into electrical supplies, allowing operators to use standard AC power to operate equipment that requires 24 volt DC current. The EPL-TX-6.3A-24V explosion proof 120 watt power converter provides a safe and effective way for operators to tap into and utilize common 100 to 277 volt AC power to operate equipment that requires 24 volt electrical power.

This explosion proof power converter features an IP67 rated waterproof cast aluminum housing, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use and includes integral short circuit and overload protection that will shut down the unit in case of faults and overloads to protect the unit and connected equipment from damage.

Both input and output sides of this transformer are terminated in EYS seal offs with CGB cord grips. Enough Chico fiber and compound is provided for operators to seal both EYS seal offs after cable is installed.

Larson Electronics carries an extensive line of LED light towers, portable power distribution systems, and explosion proof light for hazardous locations, portable work lights, and industrial grade LED area lights.
