Enhanced sales structure to meet customer demand
Brooks Utility Products adds three new sales managers and repositions sales staff with focus on existing markets and new market segments.
Farmington Hills, Mich.—Brooks Utility Products is pleased to announce a re-structuring of its inside sales organization, plus the addition of three new sales managers, to help the company to focus on key market segments to meet the growing needs of current customers and new market growth potential.
Brooks Utility Products new sales structure will focus on both geographic sales territories and sales channels such as major Public Power accounts, investor owned utility companies, Public Power accounts (cooperative and municipal utility organizations), as well as electrical distribution accounts.
Newly added as Brooks Utility Products district sales managers are Blake Ricks and David Rominger. John Burian has joined the company from a previous sales position within the corporation.
Ricks joins BUP as the DSM for the new Public Power Channel and will be responsible for South West Territory, which includes TX, CO, LA, NM, AR, and OK. He brings extensive experience in the electric supply business and resides in McKinney, TX, with his wife and two children.
Rominger has over 20 years of sales experience serving the power utility industry and is the new DSM in the Public Power Channel responsible for the MidWest/Great Lakes territory including MI, IN, OH, PA, KY, VA, MD and OH and resides in Logansport, IN, with his wife and two children.
Burian brings over 15 years of sales experience coming from Tyden Brooks Seals Company, and is the new Major Accounts manager for the Great Lakes Region responsible for major accounts in this footprint. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University and resides with his wife and two children in Columbus, OH.
Jim Pelant serves as channel manager, Public Power with responsibility for a team of DSM’s dedicated to this market segment. Jim has been with BUP for 17 years serving as a former district sales manager and regional sales manager.
Phil Dudley has been named channel manager, Major Accounts managing the efforts of major account managers and agents in the eastern region. Dudley has been in a sales role with the company for 26 years and in sales management with BUP for 16 years.
Holt Jorgenson has been named channel manager, Major Accounts managing major account managers and an agent covering the western region and has been with BUP for 25 years serving as a former district sales manager and regional sales manager.
