Twenty First Century Communications (TFCC) is pleased to announce the release of its Universal Communications System (UCS) Version 3.0. Already the industry standard, UCS v3.0 brings new features and functions while expanding capabilities and enhancing the user experience.
Provided by TFCC, a 20-year industry veteran, UCS is a state-of-the-art vendor-hosted mass notification system that reaches thousands of people at once – on any device, at any time, from anywhere. UCS powers the AlertSanDiego system, which facilitated the safe evacuation of over 500,000 people during the 2007 wildfires.
The new UCS is still backed with TFCC's 24/7/365 service and support. "At TFCC we are committed to keeping our systems on technology's leading edge and keeping our Relentless Reliability promise to our clients," says Jim Kennedy, President and CEO of TFCC. "Many of our updates and enhancements come directly from client requests."
All TFCC clients have 24/7 access to a personal Twenty First Century POC and round-the-clock live technical support.
UCS is the only emergency notification product with true TTY communications, detecting TTY devices and delivering the message in real time. Web-based and fully hosted, it can be deployed in a matter of days without the purchase of additional hardware, software or telephone lines.
The exciting updates to the system include increased query capabilities in the GIS-mapping module and an upgrade of the mapping platform software to ArcGIS Server/ArcIMS 9.3 SP1. This release supplements the mapping tool kit with new and improved selection methods to define calling areas on the map.
An expanded Contact Management console has been added with a new, easy to use tool for creating and maintaining contact groups and queries. Now users can select unlimited groups AND queries at the same time in a single step. Searching is made easier with an auto-complete/suggest feature.
Enhanced reporting on SMS/Text Message transactions will augment TFCC's comprehensive, automatic reporting feature, which already includes recipient ID verification and confirmation of message receipt.
UCS has always been accessible over the web from any location; now, with the new release, users will be able to activate and view message progress from their smartphones (e.g., BlackBerry®, Treo, etc.) using UCS' new mobile web browser.
UCS already leads the industry with standard-setting features such as robust inbound IVR, unlimited system users and the most flexible array of administrator and user permissions on the market. Multi-modal delivery reaches all devices, landline, cell phone, PDA, SMS, pager, email, fax and TTY.
As always, UCS 3.0 comes with TFCC's commitment to 24/7/365 customer care.
