Tulsa, Okla., February 22, 2010—Battery charging and cords aren’t necessary with the new Hilti WSR 18-A CPC reciprocating saw—the newest addition to the Hilti 18-V cordless tool platform. The WSR 18-A is engineered with a high-efficiency motor and eccentric gear, and when combined with Hilti’s proven CPC battery technology, the WSR 18-A performs more applications per charge than other cordless reciprocating saws.

This new saw comes standard with a high-efficiency motor for longer tool life and productivity, as well as a drop-resistant housing to ensure maximum protection of the tool’s vital components. With the purchase of a WSR 18-A, Hilti guarantees unlimited battery replacements for two years.
This new reciprocating saw is built with a keyless blade clamp for fast and easy blade changes, as well as a variable speed trigger for more operator control in cutting applications. The WSR 18-A is also designed with a two-step injection molding grip to increase operator comfort during long days on the job.
