Work lights: Not yet ready to upgrade to LEDs? Larson Electronics has you covered! High-intensity discharge (HID) lights have served industrial markets for decades, and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t use them. They have a reliable track record and are capable of power illumination in outdoor, rugged environments. This is why the military, law enforcement groups, construction sites and industrial operators are fond of using HID lights.

For maximum beam spread over the target area, HID luminaries feature robust reflectors around the bulb. This also helps deliver a more uniform and quality light during operation.

If you’re interested in compact HID lights for vehicles and heavy-duty equipment, check out our site. Our HID models are comparable to 300+ watt halogen units, with less amp draw requirements. They also provide up to 208 days (5,000+ hours) of continuous use and are heavily built in order to withstand water, dust, vibration and rough handling!

For hunters, off-roaders, police and general illumination, we recommend using HID handheld spotlights. The luminaries can light up objects as far as 2,500 feet! Running on low voltage, the units are powered using common cigarette plugs or battery clamps/clips. To cater to colored lighting applications, some models feature interchangeable lenses.

Larson Electronics also carries HID lights for vehicle mounting applications. These variants are designed to be securely mounted on compatible surfaces via brackets, a mounting plate or attachments. Remote-controlled versions allow operators to position the light from close distances. These units aren’t limited to land-based vehicles. You can also install them on boats, elevated surfaces, towers and industrial equipment, like cranes.

To extend the capabilities of our HID equipment light series, we offer several accessories to go with the products, such as mounts, magnetic bases, connectors and eye hooks.
