Safety products: Hastings, a manufacturer of hot line tools and equipment, recently improved its chain saw scabbard with new material. Using the same design, Hastings’ chain saw scabbards are now made from non-conductive, lightweight polyethylene.
In addition to making the scabbards stronger, the new material also creates a longer lasting product.
Designed for gasoline or hydraulic powered chain saws with blades up to 36” long, the scabbard mounts on buckets with and without liners. It provides safe and convenient storage while preventing accidental damage to the chain and keeps greasy contaminates off vehicles.
Scabbards are available in inside and outside the bucket mounting configurations.
The Chain Saw Scabbard is Hastings’ fourth product announcement since November 2017. Other new product releases include Hastings’ Single- and Three-Phase Load Pick-up Break Switches, Hastings' Tel-O-Pole Slide Stop, and Hastings’ Wireless Temperature Probe.
