Every place that uses dc power needs a flexible power distribution system. Optim Engineering RIGrunners are the intelligent solution for all emergency communications equipment installations, lab test benches or anywhere that dc power is needed. A power strip with safe standardized connections is needed as much for dc as ac.
Optim Engineering’s RIGrunner dc power panels are a safe and convenient way to connect dc equipment to a power source. Every RIGrunner uses the Anderson Powerpole connectors to standardize all dc connections. Powerpoles are polarized, hot swappable, insulated and genderless connectors designed specifically for high current dc.
RIGrunner dc panels are designed to operate at 40A total per strip, or at individual outlet with a special 80A model. The standard models are designed for 13.8 Vdc but are available on special order up to 48V nominal. Each outlet is fused, with LED blown fuse indicators, and most models have detachable input power cords and precision voltage monitoring, with LED and audible alerts. There are eight models to choose from, with four to 12 outlets, and both vertical and horizontal connections. There is an automatically switched model and a USB model, that besides the 12V connections, also has two 5V USB sockets.
