For Boom Trucks and More: New Blocks and Cribbing Kits Available for ProStack Interlocking Cribbing
For bucket trucks, boom trucks and more, DICA’s new ProStack™ Cribbing products have been expanded to include additional interlocking block and pad sizes. Introduced earlier this year, ProStack Cribbing is designed for use with equipment with outrigger loads that do not exceed 100,000 pounds, such as boom trucks, digger derricks, and aerial bucket trucks.
For boom trucks and more, DICA’s new ProStack™ Cribbing products have been expanded to include additional interlocking block and pad sizes. Introduced earlier this year, ProStack Cribbing is designed for use with equipment with outrigger loads that do not exceed 100,000 pounds, such as boom trucks, digger derricks, and aerial bucket trucks.
ProStack™ Cribbing has an interlocking design that safely provides additional height under outrigger floats when setting up in uneven ground conditions.
A ProStack Cribbing set-up is comprised of three basic parts; a base outrigger pad, interlocking cribbing blocks and a high friction top grip pad. The base ProStack Outrigger Pad is manufactured with a pyramid-shaped surface that interlocks with the cribbing blocks. On top of the base pad, operators stack layers of cribbing blocks that lock into the base pad, to the desired height. Lastly, a ProStack Grip Pad is placed on top of the stack to provide a high friction surface for the outrigger foot, and to protect the pyramid surface on the cribbing blocks.
Now ProStack Cribbing is available in a 6”thick 12”x12” cribbing blocks that are half the size and half the weight of the 6” thick 12”x24” cribbing blocks. The new TCR-612-12 cribbing blocks weigh just 27 pounds each, and are intended to be used with 24” ProStack Pads. Original 6” thick 12”x24” cribbing blocks only weigh 55 pounds and are intended to be used in tandom to create a 24”x24” surface area for equipment with larger outrigger feet.
“Smaller cribbing blocks and cribbing pads increase flexibility for operators who need to build stable height for equipment such as aerial bucket trucks and digger derricks where the stabilizer and outrigger feet are smaller,” said Kris Koberg, CEO.
ProStack Cribbing performance is predictable and reliable unlike most other solutions commonly employed in the field.
